UTAH

Ok so all the pictures I posted and backwards from my commentary, you will have to figure it out. I am just so bad at posting I am just trying to get an update!
We had such a great time in Utah. It was so nice to see my new Nephew Gage, he was about 3 weeks old by the time we got there and so darn cute!
We played LOTs of Wii, that was one thing that I wanted to do. My parents got the Wii fit while we were there and it is so so much fun and such a great work out!
Braden and Ashley had such a great time playing with there cousins. Braden is is heaven playing for hours on end.
It was so much fun to hang out with my sisters, that is one of the hardest things about being away.
We went to the Aquarium and the Childrens museum, we had such a great time.
We cooked lots of fun meals and just hung out!
I was excited to see my older sister Emalee, she is over 20 weeks along and while we were there she found out she is having a boy, we are so excited for her!!
Poor Hope had Mono the entire time we were there, she was pretty miserable. It was sad because she is usually such a good helper, and lots of fun.
For Conference weekend we went up to my Grandparents in Richmond, it was so nice to go up there. It has been a few years since I have been able to do that. I just love it, we do the same thing every Conference, Watch Conference, have a potato bar while the guys are out, do a little shopping, make a quick ice cream run. Oh and of course the Pepperidge Farm outlet store. Mostly it is just so nice to visit and have a break. There is just something magical about my Grandparents house.
It was also my birthday while I was there and we had a big bbq, all my family came and some good friends. It was so nice to see everyone!

Easy Crock Pot Fajitas

3-4 - Chicken Breasts (frozen or thawed)
1 - Packet Fajita Seasoning
4 - Different Colored Bell Pappers
1 - Onion
1/2c - Water

Put the Chicken in the Crock pot, mix 1/2 cup water with the fajita seasonings packet, pour over chicken and cook on low for 3-4 hours. After chicken is cooked (3-4 Hours later) Cut all peppers and onion (I cut peppers in strips then I cut the strips in half. I dice the onion) and put in with the chicken for another 1 to 1.5 hours. ( check peppers and vary time depending on how soft you like your veggies, We like them softer)

Sometimes we just serve this with cheese on tortillias and it is super delish!!
Other times we serve with Black beans, Cheese, Salsa, Sour Cream, Rice. What ever you like it always turns out so good and is so easy!

Ashley Mae 9-10 months

Pretty darn cute, I would Say!! Ashley is full of life, she loves her brother so much. She is so smiley and just a good baby, we are so glad she is ours.

Braden at 10 months

So I am obviously not a professional blogger but I really wish I was. I wanted to post a few pictures of Braden when he was 9-10 months. That is how old Ashley is now, you can compare them and see what you think. Do they look like brothers and sisters or what!!

Winter is here to stay!

Oh where has my Beautiful Green Michigan gone?
When we arrived here a few months ago I couldn't believe how pretty it was. There are ponds and lakes everywhere. It is Green and Beautiful and there is so much to do outside. We were able to go to the lake and play in the water and sand. Go to the park, on walks, and so many other things. But winter is here and the snow has completely taken over. We have been stuck inside the house trying to find projects to do and games to play. The snow keeps coming and the old stuff isn't melting so it just keeps piling higher and higher. All through out our neighborhood there are mounds of snow in everyones front yard. I am going out today to get some pics so you can see what I mean. Its crazy!! In Utah we got lots of snow but it would melt, not here! We just keep getting more and more. And the temperature keeps dropping. I was watching the news the other night and it was -2o with the wind chill. They even had to cancel school because it was so cold. Something just isn't right about these temperatures. Oh how I wish we could go out and play and go on walks and go to the park.... Michigan winters are pretty brutal but we are now half way through January and we are making it a day at a time.

Birthday Board

For Christmas my sisters and I made these Birthday boards for our families. They turned out so so good!! I had to post and show the results. The one I have pictures is my moms, we also made them in green and blue and they turned out so so cute!! The stars hanging down have the names of each person who was born in that month and the day of their birthday, they are hanging from ribon and attached with velcro which makes it super easy to add on when there is an addition to the family.
